General – Can I just come and visit the event?

Since we hire the event hall as a private event, we need to keep track of how many people are in the venue at a given point. As such visitors will need to procure an Event Pass. An Event Pass will cost 10€ and will grant you access to the hall, the facilities and any vendors and demo’s on site. If you purchase a player ticket your Event Pass is automatically included in your order. Just come see us at the registration booth to receive your event pass on days that would be outside of the scope of your purchased ticket. If you are not planning to play in any of our events, you can either pre-order your Event Pass from our webstore, or purchase your Event Pass on site.

General – What food and drink options are there on site?

You’ll be able to find a selection of food trucks on site. We try to have a bit of everything to satisfy everybody’s taste-pallet but of course this is dependent on availability. For our playerbase we will resort to organised catering where needed.

In terms of beverages we’ll have a varied selection of soft-drinks, energy drinks and some amazing local beers.

General – What are the payment options on-site?

We accept both international card payments and cash (only Euro’s) at the event. Direct payment at the bar will not be possible in order to speed up servicing and keep bar staff workload to a minimum. You’ll need to either purchase a drinking token or a drinking card at the WTC sales booth. There are two tax categories so there will be different tokens/cards per category (typically one for alcoholic beverages/snacks and one for coffee/softdrinks). 

General – Can I become a volunteer at the WTC?

We are always on the lookout for some extra help! If you want to help out at the event, please fill out the volunteering form via the link below and we’ll be in touch. Thanks in advance for your willingness to help out at the event!

Parking & Travel – Can I park my car at the venue?

There are about 1500 parking spots available on site. Each time you drive in and out of the venue, you’ll need to pay a parking fee of approximately 7.5€. You need to validate and pay for your parking ticket at one of the parking booths located in the entry hall of the venue or outside of the venue. Parking is regulated by the venue and does not fall under the scope of WTC Event Management. Any issues will have to be resolved with the staff of the Nekkerhallen event hall. 

Parking & Travel – Where can I park outside of the venue space?

Free parking options are indicated in orange. They are just across from the venue and a short walking distance away from the event hall.

Ticketing – Can I buy tickets the days of the event?

For most events, we have a strict registration deadline. Check out the scheduling page for more info regarding these event registration deadlines.

Typically, we will only allow on-site ticket purchases for the following:

Ticketing – I bought a ticket, but cannot make it, am I eligible for a refund?

Please refer to our policy page to understand more about our refund policy. Typically we don’t offer refunds on tickets once purchased. You can however, transfer your ticket to another player that may take your place in the event you purchased a ticket for. Id you’d like to use that option, use the button below:

Ticketing – I bought my ticket online but haven’t received a copy via email. What should I do?

Please check your spam box prior to see if the email didn’t accidentally end up in there. If you don’t find back the confirmation email for your order, please just leave us a message at admin@worldteamchampionship.com and we’ll re-issue the order confirmation email as soon as possible.

Misc – Can I bring my own food and drinks to the venue?

It is not allowed to bring your own drinks and food into the venue except with express permission from the WTC organisation. If there’s a medical reason why you should be excempt from this restriction, please contact admin@worldteamchampionship.com ahead of the event dates.

Misc – May I leave my personal belongings at the venue (overnight)?

You may leave your items at the venue (also overnight), but at your own risk. The organisation is not responsible for any items that are left unattended.

Misc – What happens to any lost and found?

Any items that look misplaced/forgotten during the event will be brought back to the referee station. Talk to any of our referees or staff behind the referee desk to check if your lost items have been found and brought back to the referee station. If after the event you realise you have forgotten/lost some items, contact admin@worldteamchampionship.com describing the item(s) you have lost. After 1 month, clothing items that have not been claimed will be donated to charity/those in need, while other items will be discarded.
