Whether you’re looking to refine your techniques or push your painting to the next level, this workshop is designed to give you hands-on guidance in an inspiring, focused environment.

This workshop is designed for hobbyists with basic painting experience, but motivated beginners are welcome. 

Dates & Format

• 2 full day: 14 & 15 August. From 10:00 to 17:00. 
• Hosted in a dedicated private area of the event for a comfortable and focused learning experience 

What’s Included

• 1 miniature provided. All participants will work on the same model to ensure step-by-step guidance and consistent learning
  • Selected miniature: Warhammer, Lord of Blight. 
• Participation in the painting contest
  • Includes a goodie bag including some paints and brushes from our sponsor, The Army Painter
  • Note: Contest participants must be present on Sunday for the award ceremony

What You’ll Learn

Over the two days, Borja will guide you through:

• Brush control and advanced techniques
• Color theory and blending
• Light, contrast, and composition
• Fine detailing and finishing touches

This structured approach ensures you leave not only with a completed miniature, but with skills you can apply to future projects.

What to Bring

To get the most out of the workshop, please bring your own materials:

Essential Tools

• Paints (will be provided on-site via The Army Painter where needed)
  • Your preferred acrylic miniature paints
  • Recommended: a full range including base colors, highlights, and shadows
• Brushes (will be provided on-site via The Army Painter where needed)
  • High-quality fine detail brushes (sizes 0, 1, and 2 recommended)
  • A good sharp tip is more important than ultra-small sizes
• Palette
  • Wet palette (strongly recommended) for better paint control
• Lighting
  • Daylight lamp 

Additional Items

• Water container
• Brush soap/cleaner
• Painting handle or holder (recommended for comfort)
• Notebook for taking notes (optional but useful)
